I am a PHP programmer, currently based in Kettering. I have a BSc degree in Information Systems with several years commercial experience specialising in PHP development with MySQL databases. Apart from PHP, I am comfortable with XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. I am currently exploring possibilities in ASP.NET 3.5.
I currently perform about 90% on my programming using a Mac, but I am also comfortable using Windows, Linux, or Apache command line.
I have recently been made redundant from Silverdisc, an SEO marketing company in Kettering, where I was a PHP Developer.
My responsibilities included:
Website development,
Designing web-based applications for clients,
Building and maintaining numerous e-commerce websites,
XML data feeds, MySQL databases,
Wireless network and file backup server installation,
Hardware and software maintenance,
Support of IT infrastructure, Development of tools using Google API and Yahoo API
I have implemented campaigns in Google Adwords, and was also working towards becoming certified in Google Analytics. I have also just completed a course on ASP.NET 3.5
